Children and familY Ministry

OUr AIM

Our aim as a family equipping ministry is to engage, equip, and encourage parents in the daily task of discipling their children toward a lifetime of following Jesus. With that in mind, we have put together a Parent Worship Guide to equip you as you walk through the various aspects of our weekly worship gathering with your kids.

NURSERY

Sundays, 9:30am (during service)

Our nursery (ages 0-4) is available every Sunday during our worship service and most special events for infants and toddlers. Our dedicated and loving nursery staff shepherd children each week as parents worship in service. We like to have the Nursery staffed ten minutes prior to service each week. A cry room is also provided during worship services for those who do not wish to utilize the nursery. It is located just past the bathrooms. There is also a Family Room behind the stage with a television streaming the service for those families who feel like it would be of service to them.

CHILDREN'S LESSON

Sundays, during sermon

Children age 4-8 are encouraged to worship with their families the first half of our worship service before being dismissed for the Children’s Lesson where they will be challenged in their faith through age appropriate lessons and activities. Our volunteers spend time shepherding children through activities, play, song, and a gospel-centered curriculum with the aim of holding up Jesus as the central hero in all of Scripture. To volunteer, please contact the office. Availability is subject to change depending upon staffing.

Kid’s Ministry - Kingdom Kids

Meets Wednesday evenings from 6:15-7:30pm during the School Year

The name Kingdom Kids is based on Matthew 6:33. “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you”. Our Kid’s Ministry is a free weekly program for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade. Our evening unfolds as follows:

  • Welcome and Music

  • Games and Lesson (Alternating Age Groups)

  • Group Scripture Verse Review

  • Dismiss and Parent Pick Up

Our Kid’s Ministry establishes a welcoming and supportive environment where children from every background and cultural setting learn how a personal relationship with Christ affects their everyday lives.

If you have any questions, please contact the office.

Family Ministry - Resources for you!

We strive to equip our families in every way to better grow together in pursuit of Jesus, and in the discipleship of their kids! We base our family ministry off of Deuteronomy 6 (the Shema), which encourages parents to diligently teach their children the Word of God throughout their everyday lives. Below we have selected some resources that may be of use to you as you strive to pursue Christ as a family.
