Midweek Mix is an event for ALL AGES and different generations to come together around good food and good teaching. Tonight we’ll be looking at the first question of the New City Catechism, “What is our only hope in life and death?” Let’s dig into the Word together and internalize important truths about who God is! Youth Group will have Kiddie-Pool Kickball afterwards! (Kids Q&A Slide) We can’t wait to see you tonight at 6:15 as we gather together for a time of food, fellowship, worship, and a brief time in the Word together! On Sunday morning, we had the joy of commissioning our second Pastoral Resident of 2026, Clayton Kosel! Throughout this year, Clayton will be serving alongside Chase Geistfeld as part of our Pastoral Residency program, growing in his preparation for ministry under the guidance and supervision of the elders of Swan Lake. At Swan Lake Evangelical Free Church, we are passionate about investing in and equipping future leaders for the Church. We are excited to walk alongside Clayton as he continues to develop and prepare for the work God has called him to. Please join us in welcoming Clayton and helping him feel at home during his residency with us. We look forward to seeing how God will work through him in the months ahead!

Faith doesn’t mature by chance. God grows His people through the faithful study of His Word, through prayer, and through life alongside other believers who encourage, challenge, and stir up one another toward life in Christ. Every gathering, every conversation, every time Scripture is opened together, God is at work shaping His people into the image of His Son. Keep showing up. Keep opening your Bible. Keep pursuing Christ together. “12 Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, 13 bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. 14 And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. 15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. Last Sunday, we had the joy of praying over and commissioning Braylon as he prepares to serve with Cru in Montpellier, France this summer! 🇫🇷✈️ Over the next five weeks, Braylon will have the opportunity to build relationships, share the hope of the Gospel, and serve alongside fellow believers among university students in one of the youngest cities in France. We are thankful for his willingness to step out in faith and answer God’s call. As a church family, we’re excited to support him through prayer and encouragement as he goes to “win, build, and send” for Christ. Please continue praying for boldness, meaningful conversations, safety in travel, spiritual growth, and for hearts to be open to the Gospel. We are grateful for your commitment to the Gospel and your love for the lost, Braylon, and we’re overjoyed to commission and send you out as a Church! 🙏🌍
